Frequently Asked Questions
How much are architecture fees?

Every project is different, which is why we price based on your unique needs. Where possible, we work with your requirements and budget for a personalised outcome that doesn’t compromise on cost or quality.

Do I need an architect for my project?

Architects undergo a great deal of training, and their skills are often required for construction projects large and small. Whether you need one depends on the individual needs of your project, but generally, if you need to submit an architectural design for a planning application or construction drawings for the build, you will need an architect to produce these.

Larger projects will also include specialist architectural design skills and the solving of complex building challenges, all of which can be provided by our highly qualified architects.

What kind of projects do you work on?

We work on projects of all sizes, shapes, and scales, from small bespoke homes to large community centres and educational facilities.

What is a development appraisal?

A development appraisal is a financial report that allows you to assess the viability of a potential site or project. Expected costs are balanced against expected income to generate a financial feasibility model which can then be taken to investors.

How long is the planning application process?

It varies based on the type of development. Domestic projects can take eight to ten weeks, while commercial projects tend to take 13 weeks or more. Whatever the case, we work closely with the local planning authorities to facilitate a favourable outcome the first time around.
