Great Barr Muslim Foundation

MADE was approached to create an inspiring interior design scheme for a set of bathrooms at the Great Bar Muslim Foundation, including ablution spaces. 

The concept was to ensure the spaces were designed to create a sophisticated, contemporary and elegant interior. Although the overall space was small, the project involved renovating existing spaces and the layout was challenging to achieve the client’s requirements. 

We also designed the lighting for this space with a combination of general lighting and accent lighting through cove lights. Mirrors also played a role in maintaining elegant interiors. A good choice of materials brought in a pattern through the tiles and the concept for the tiling was interesting with brass inlays.

We were involved in this project from design conceptualisation to building regulation drawings and material selection.
